Happy Thanksgiving! I managed to cram most of today's writing into the morning before the festivities began, and I'm pretty much caught up and on track right now, having just cleared 40,000 words. Tomorrow, though, Mom and I head up to Portland to visit Lacey, so we'll see how much more I get done this weekend. Only one week left!

Jaden Sands: 25 years old, working at a tech company in Mountain View (no, not that one). Pastimes include dancing and recovering mysteriously disabled limbs (his own).
Gordon Ross: 14 years old, lives in Edinburgh. His life made difficult by school, unrequited crushes and possessed stuffed animals. You know, the usual teenage issues.
Julian P. Oddbury: One of Jaden's neighbors and retired oneironaut.
Malcolm: A very minor and worried demon.
Ixy: A toy cat. But don't let that fool you.
Zoe: A channel. Also an excellent dancer.
